Course Objective


The Medical Assistant Program prepares the student to become a reliable and efficient individual in a wide variety of duties.

Versatility and ingenuity based on a broad knowledge of a combination of easily recognized job specialties, such as receptionist, secretary, lab assistant, office nurse, bookkeeper, and medical office manager, are the main focus of this program. Therefore, the major objective is to provide specialized training in anatomy, terminology, nursing, clinical laboratory, and office management to train a medical assistant of quality and increasing value to the physician employer, and to the individuals seeking medical attention.
